Which package should I pick?
Name Audit ($195) is for founders who already have a single name in mind and want it checked properly before they commit. Name Starter ($295) is for founders without a name yet — ten broker-generated candidates with basic availability checking. Name & Clear ($495) is the full package: ten candidates plus deep clearance on the top three across domains, ASIC, IP Australia and social handles.
What platforms do you actually check?
Domain availability across .com.au, .au, .net.au and .com; the ASIC business names register; the ASIC company names register; the IP Australia trademark register (relevant classes); social handle availability on Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Facebook and TikTok; and a Google search for existing brands and trading collisions. Coverage scales with the package — Name Audit and Name & Clear include all of the above, Name Starter includes the domain and ASIC layers.
How is this different from a free AI name generator?
Free generators produce hundreds of algorithmically-shuffled names with no availability checking, no Australian context, and no broker review. Flair packages are short, screened lists where every candidate has been checked and a senior broker has commented on memorability, fit and risk. The point is a list you can actually act on, not a brainstorm dump.
What if I want a name that's already taken?
Common — premium
.com.au names are mostly held by existing businesses. If a name on your shortlist is taken but worth pursuing, our
brokerage team can approach the current holder and negotiate. That's a separate engagement on the broker page, not part of the naming package.
Are reports suitable for legal matters?
No. Flair naming reports are research and recommendations from a senior broker, delivered as general information. They do not constitute formal trademark clearance, legal advice, or registrability opinions. For high-stakes matters, engage a registered Australian trademark lawyer to do a comprehensive clearance opinion based on our preliminary findings.
